Navigating life with our boy Small who has no diagnosis despite a staggeringly long shopping list of symptoms. These include global developmental delay and visual impairment. In practical day to day terms this mean he is non-verbal (though his various laughs, squeals and indignant shouts make it clear how he feels), has little independent mobility (he now sits independently, can pull to sit and is, bit by bit, starting to take his weight on his feet) and is dependent upon us, his family and you, the world, to help him grow, develop and understand the life that is happening to and around him.
